Previously Bells Beach Surf Classic , The Rip Curl Pro is a WSL World Tour (formerly ASP) surf competition held in and around Torquay, Victoria. The show is based in Bells Beach, Victoria, Australia. The event winner was awarded the prestigious 'Bell' trophy.
The song "Hells Bells" by AC/DC is played every morning before the first competition.

Histori
The competition has been held annually at Easter at Bells Beach, Victoria continuously since 1961, becoming a professional competition in 1973. The contest has had numerous sponsors for years, including the 1984 Australian rock band, the Australian Crawl.
