Histori

Embassy Row was founded on December 12, 2000 by British television producer Michael Davies as Diplomatic (or Diplomatic Productions ), with the help of ABC and Disney. Michael Davies was originally a senior vice president for Buena Vista Productions, who later joined ABC in February 1998 as executive vice president.

In 2004, the Diplomatic joined the Royal United Kingdom for a five-year deal until 2009. Their first production with the Monkey was Studio 7 , an event that aired on WB.

On May 12, 2005, Davies teamed up with entertainment marketer Tera Hanks, and filmmaker and former CEO of LivePlanet Chris Moore and Diplomatic Productions, soon folded into the Embassy. However, on December 5, Hanks and Moore left.

On January 2, 2006, the company signed a 3-year contract with Sony Pictures Television and a few days later on January 13th, GSN signed an agreement with ER and SPT for three series commitments.

On January 14, 2009, after three successful years, the Embassy was acquired by SPT.

On April 7, 2014, former head of IFC's original programming, Debbie DeMontreux joined Embassy Row as senior vice president of development & amp; programming.
