A Certificate of Producer Origin (MCO), also known as the Statement of Origin of Manufacturers (MSO), is a prescribed document stating the country of origin of the goods required by a foreign country for tariff purposes, sometimes requiring the signature of a fated country consulate.

Original certificates are used to certify that the goods exported from either the United States to Canada or Mexico or from Canada or Mexico to the United States qualify as goods of origin for the purpose of preferential tariff treatment under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Vehicle kit

The MCO will specifically state that the vehicle is a launcher or a kit vehicle. If the applicant does not have an MCO, the vehicle must be titled and registered as a reconstructed vehicle.
