A horseshoe whisker , also known as a biker mustache , is a whisker full of vertical extensions that grow at the corners of the lips and down to the side of the mouth to the jaw line, resembling an inverted U or horseshoe. Whiskers that grow along the side of the mouth on the horseshoe are sometimes referred to as "pipes".
The horseshoe is not to be confused with Fu Manchu, which grows only from the upper lip while the sides remain shaved.
