The 2012 Canadian Capital Curling Cup is from November 28 to December 2 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This is the first time that Moose Jaw hosts the Canadian Cup, and the second time Saskatchewan hosted the Canadian Cup, held in Yorkton in 2009. TSN broadcasts the edition of the ten Canadian Cups.
In the women's final, Stefanie Lawton won the third Canadian Cup title with a victory over the Jennifer Jones rink, passed by Kaitlyn Lawes. Lawton secured the win with a draw to earn a point, winning the game 6-4. In the men's final, Jeff Stoughton won his first Canadian Cup title with victory over last year's runner-up Glenn Howard, drawing for a point at the end to win the game 4-3.
The winners, Jeff Stoughton and Stefanie Lawton, qualify for the 2013 Canadian Curling Trials in Winnipeg, Manitoba, which will determine Canada's representative for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The winners will also be selected by the Canadian Curling Association to represent the North American Team at the 2014 Curling Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada.
