SCORE Class 1 is an unlimited open class competing in the SCORE offroad race series including Steel 1000, Baja 500, San Felipe 250 and the SCORE Desert Challenge. Class 1 is defined as a four-wheeled single vehicle and two seats indefinitely. No production vehicles are allowed in this class. The machine must be normally aspirated. Since this is an open class, all components are considered open unless limited by SCORE International.
The vehicle number has been established permanently for each driver. Number 100-109 is reserved for previous years as the rank of driver for positions 1-9 with respect. Figures 100-199 will be available for the assignment. Drivers who have used the number in the previous year's season will be given the first option for the same number this season.
